'''Hip Hop Republican''' or HHR, is a [[conservative]], [[libertarian]] blog focusing on [[politics]] and music. Founded in [[New York City]] in 2004 to push the [[Republican Party]] "to create and launch an urban agenda that empowers people, not governmental institutions." Their message is a call for outreach and not pandering, as the way to grow the party in urban areas. All HHR Blog contributors are volunteers and in 2008 they took part in the [[RNC]] Credentialed Convention Blog in Saint Paul, [[Minnesota]].
