They have been featured in both the [[Guitar Hero]] and [[Rock Band]] video game series. Popular frontman Bon Scott was killed because of an accidental overdose of alcohol in 1980. The band continued on after recruiting frontman Brian Johnson, who sounds similar to Scott. Johnson was a popular replacement and the band enjoyed success throughout the 1980s, however Johnson was not able to eclipse the popularity of Scott.
