El Salvador is one of only 3 countries in the world where abortion is illegal in all cases? Do you have a cite for this? I'd find it surprising if this wasn't the case in, say, Saudi Arabia. [[User:DanH|DanH]] 12:16, 15 June 2007 (EDT)

: That's a good point. Possibly in Saudi it is not considered neccessary even to have a law about abortion - I will delete the reference until I can corroborate. [[User:Pachyderm|Pachyderm]] 12:18, 15 June 2007 (EDT)

The section describing the civil war currently reads as a little painfully whitewashed. GIven all independent reviews of human rights abuses concur on the scale of government abuses dwarfing those of the rebels, the section fails the 'trustworthy' test. Minimally, a mention of the El Mozote massacre seems appropriate – one of the larger killings of civilians on the continent in the century. A list of the victims here http://luterano.blogspot.com/2011/12/el-mozote-victims.html
