:As I understand it, the argument is that obesity is itself linked to most of these factors. For sexual morality, see [[Homosexuality and obesity]]. For intelligence, see the oft-made point that obese individuals may be ignoring scientific research into diet and exercise. For ethnocentricity, one might perhaps suggest that obese atheists are ignoring healthy ethnic foods such as brown rice and mung beans (should this be added to the article?). So you see, it's not that those issues are excluded, it's that effort is made to cover as many issues as possible, as amply as possible. The expansive obsesity writings enable anti-atheist fingers to be dipped into many pies.--[[User:CPalmer|CPalmer]] 11:41, 21 December 2011 (EST)

::::::User: CatholicBill, the article is about atheism and obesity. Not crime statistics. It is certainly no crime to overeat or be overweight. Please stick to the topic of the article. Be that as it may: [http://creation.com/atheism#incarceration HERE is some crime statistics in relation to no-religion people you are failing to bring up.] As far as your other "arguments", you are failing to recognize that we live in a multi-variable world. For example, if affluence is related to atheism because people get "fat and sassy" (rebellious) towards God when their wallet is fuller then that would certainly affect IQ levels since their is a correlation between wealth and IQ. By the way, if atheists are so smart, then why did the Soviet Union fall? :) Lastly, the atheist community could take much of the wind out of the sails of this article simply by losing weight which is easy to do if you comply with what nutritional science, exercise science and medical science say to do. Atheists purport to love science so this should be quite easy to do if their purported love of science is genuine. So instead of kvetching about this article, I suggest that the atheist community get more serious about health within their community. If you are an atheist, next time you feel tempted to eat a Whopper ask yourself "What would Jesus eat?"  According to the [[Mayo Clinic]] the Mediterranean diet (which is what Jesus ate) is quite health and compatible with weight loss. 18:13, 22 January 2012 (EST)
