Harry Potter is, first and foremost, about the triumph of good over evil. As to criticisms of the book's take on authority, I was previously unaware that a writer's incoroporation of complexity into adult characters was so frowned upon, and were Nebuchadnezzar and King Darius not authority figures also? --X.
