Basically, the deal is that Dr. Soon thought sunspots contributed significantly to global temperature. You can see that the two do not correlate, especially in the last couple years. Strikingly, sunspot activity is at the lowest its been in about 100 years, and the global temperature is the highest its been in at least 100 years.
