Line 1: − The '''1996 NBA Draft''' was held on June 26, 1996. It is considered one of the strongest drafts in NBA history with perennial All-Stars such as [[Allen Iverson]], [[Steve Nash]] and [[Kobe Bryant]] being selected. [[Ben Wallace]], who went undrafted, would go on to have a long career. The [[Philadelphia 76ers]] won the first pick via the draft lottery. The [[New York Knicks]] had three picks in the first round.+ − − ==First Round== − {| class="wikitable" − |- − ! # − ! Team − ! Player − !
