That why the previous version said, maybe poorly worded, that isolationist vs interventionist positions are traditionally neither liberal nor conservative. And Iraq is not the first time that democrats (who is not the same as liberals) favor isolationist positions. The opposition in the US typically turns isolationist, when a foreign adventure turns ugly.[[User:Order|Order]] 10 April 11:30 (AEST)
