We were not founded as a theocracy and we were not founded as a Godless nation either. The overblown "Jefferson was not Christian" lovefest has been debunked already. Your "moot" point that nobody talks about is that Jefferson founded the American Bible Society and paid for the importation of 20000 Bibles.
