When the moon is collinear with the sun and the Earth, then tides are stronger; when it forms an angle with the Earth and the sun, tides are weaker.

==Cause Of The Tides==
  −
The cause of the earth's tides is entirely unknown. Upon casual observation, the tides are observed to "come in," and are likewise observed to "go out." There has never been, nor will there ever be, a miscommunication involved in the tide's proceedings. This proves the existence of God by process of elimination; since the direct cause of the tides is unknown, they could only be caused by a deity.
