Changes

Historians and scholars agree that the story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1-11) is not authentic and was added decades later to the Gospel of John by scribes. The only plausible defense that this could actually have happened, is the fact that it may have been apart was a part of the oral tradition of the Life life of Jesus, prior to the writing of the Gospels. You can also tell that the story was added in later by it's its style of writing. ²
