Indeed America has been going to rot and ruin since they left Britain. They are so honest the actually write "In God we trust" on their God. During the War Of 1812, we had no problem finding spies, I'm sure Madison himself would have provided information if we'd tried paying him. As Madison himself said, the Constitution's job is to protect the minority of opulent from the majority. I have a cousin out there, paralysed his spine falling from a roof. When he saw the bill he wished he back home where the a civilised government would have not have charged him a penny.
