::If it doesn't agree with your own personal form of morality, then it must be hatred.  That's exactly what you are saying here.  Make room for more love?  If you're about to drive off a broken bridge, would it be based on love or hate that I tell you the bridge is out?  And if you do continue the drive, whose fault is it when you wind up at the bottom of the ravine?

::I just shared my moral code, and it's in the Bible, the book you clearly reject.  Jesus' message of love wasn't tolerance; it was a reconciliation with God on God's terms, and his love included taking the world's sins upon Himself on the Cross.  Like it or not, homosexuality is a sin; it falls under adultery, and you cannot continue to do it.  So the choice is yours.  Either accept Jesus as your Savior, or face Him as your Judge.  [[User:Karajou|Karajou]] 18:38, 22 May 2012 (EDT)

:::I respect that the bible is your moral code. But as I'm respecting your code that I don't live by, I don't think it's unreasonable to be allowed to live by my own. Unless somebody forced you to be gay at some point or another, then the existence of gay people has no effect on your ability to live a biblically good life. Is there a passage that discourages the philosophy of "live and let live"? (I'm genuinely curious on this point, please let me know if there is). Moreover, I'm not gay, although many people close to me are. And they are some of the kindest, most virtuous people I know. So that's my reason for caring about the issue. As far as my judgement goes, that's between me and my creator, and I have no fear or regrets whenever it happens.

::::For the record, I'm genuinely enjoying having this discussion, and I'll be disappointed if it has to end in a ban on this account. I think it's constructive and I'd like it to continue.
