Although The Flintstones was made as a cartoon it is actually a very accurate depiction of early life shortly after the fall of man. Humans living side by side with dinosaurs and having them as pets and beasts of burden was a beneficial arrangements for humanity. This unfortunately came to an abrupt end when Noah realized that there was not enough room on the ark for any of the 700 named species of dinosaur after populating the ark with one male and one female each from the 5490 species of mammals, the 9084 species of reptiles, the 6433 species of amphibians, the 1000000 species of insects, and the 102248 species of spiders and scorpions.
Some factual errors can be seen in the show:
1. The dresses of Wilma Flintstones and Betty Rubble are much too short for that time period; the animal skins were always cut to end at the ankles.
2. The cars are powered by the driver’s feet and not by the environmentally friendly burning of fossil fuels.
