Another example of faulty logic would be when it comes to atheism. Atheists typically use many logical fallacies in an effort to convert people to their religion.  

Another example of faulty logic would be when it comes to Chrisitanity. Christians typically use many logical fallacies in an effort to convert people to their religion. For example, God created the Universe and everything within it (Genesis 1:1) which therefore means he created Satan (John 1:3). When Satan fell from Heaven (Revelation 12:7-9) it was by his own free will that he rebelled. Christians believe that those who commit evil deeds are influenced by Satan (John 8:44). However, God knows everything from Beginning to End (Isaiah 46:10) and created Satan, meaning that he knew Satan would rebel and in fact had created him to do so. As the only way into Heaven is to repent your sins, sins influenced by Satan who God made to be evil, Christianity ensures that it guilts those who feel they have done bad in their life into believing in Christianity.

This logical fallacy acts as if absence of evidence is evidence of absence. This can be proven to be a faulty supposition because before America was discovered by Europeans, one could say there are only four continents based upon the evidence. This would be treated as a fact despite it being proven false later on. Also, this premise ignores the fact that there are multiple types of knowledge. There is empirical knowledge and then there is knowledge one has through faith. An example would be the knowledge that a mother loves her son. This cannot be proven to be a lie, but people have faith that is it true.
