:::Ok I found a few recent sources.  A ''National Geographic'' article from November 2011 gives the cause of death as an arrow (and possibly a blow to the head), the website of the museum where he is kept [inhttp://www.iceman.it/en/how-oetzi-died] gives the arrow and head injury (this isn't a great source to be honest), a Guardian article from 2002 gives some details about the wounds [http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/mar/21/humanities.research1] and the abstract for a paper indicates that the arrow wound might have healed slightly before death[http://rsif.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/early/2012/04/26/rsif.2012.0174].  This is good enough for me.  I will leave it a while anyway to see if anything else comes up.
