I didn't realize you were on a first-name basis with the Secretary of State!

In July 2012, as part of an inquiry by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence led to charges of [[Islamophobia]] against [[Michele Bachmann]]. In a letter, Bachmann stated that Abedin's parents and brother were/are affiliated with the [[Muslim Brotherhood]]. As such, Bachmann wanted simple details on how Huma attained high-level security clearance. Aberdin's family connections would be a disqualifying factor in security clearance. Democrat representative [[Keith Ellison]] played the race card, avoiding the issue. Republican [[John McCain]] publicly lashed out at Bachmann. <ref>[http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/310198/questions-about-huma-abedin-andrew-c-mccarthy?pg=1 Questions about Huma Abedin, National Review, July 21, 2012]</ref> House majority leader [[John Boehner]] did not even read the letter when he made a media statement against Bachmann. The [[lamestream media]] piled on to further their [[liberal]] vendetta against Bachmann.

Huma Abedin is a part of a pattern with the Obama Administration to work with organizations and people considered by many as having terrorist ties. Huma is not the only concern made know in the letter. Hillary's work on behalf of the Obama Administration to provide assistance to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is  one factor. Representative [[Louie Gohmert]] of Texas, one of four co-signers to Bachmann's letter, grills [[Janet Napolitano]] for answers on the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration and Huma Aberdin's clearance. Napolitano denies it all, provides obfuscation and plays the [[Political cards | Islamophobia card]] when questioned on Capitol Hill.
