Stanley F. Reed (December 31, 1884 – April 2, 1980) was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States; before being appointed to the Court he served as Franklin Roosevelt's Solicitor General.[1]
While Solicitor General, one of his attorneys in his office was a young Alger Hiss from 1935-1936.
