Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an animated film released in 2008. The film takes place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The plot revolves around Anakin Skywalker learning to accept his apprentice, a young Togrutan named Ahsoka Tano, all while returning Jabba the Hutt's son to him. The viewer soon finds that this is all part of a larger plot by the Separatists, led by Count Dooku, to control trade routes in the Outer Rim. At the end of the movie, a treaty is set up so that the Republic can use Jabba's routes. The movie is the prequel to a TV series on Cartoon Network.
