Starkville, Mississippi

Starkville is a city in eastern Mississippi.

Mississippi State University is partially located in Starkville (most of the campus is outside the city limits, but as Starkville is the nearest city it is frequently referred to as the location).

Because there is little social activity in the area outside of the campus, the town has given itself the humorous nickname "Starkvegas".
