Steve McQueen was one of the biggest movie stars of the 1960s and 1970s, and a convert to Christianity who described himself as born-again.[1] He was a libertarian-leaning conservative who endorsed Richard Nixon for president in 1968.

Nearly three decades after his death, McQueen was ranked among the top ten highest-earning deceased celebrities.
