Susan Diane Wojcicki (born July 5, 1968) is the current CEO of the liberal big tech video platform, YouTube. She was formerly involved in founding big tech liberal-biased browser Google.
After Google took over YouTube, she became CEO of Youtube since 2014. Since she became the director of YouTube through Google, it was not allowed to change the director of the website as used to happen every four years. YouTube changed its policy after she took over. Under Wojcicki, the website became a fully pro-censorship platform against conservatives.[1] To make herself neutral after receiving backlash criticism for banning conservatives, she received a “Free Expression” award from the Freedom Forum Institute in a virtual ceremony — sponsored by YouTube.[2] The video of her receiving the reward received a massive backlash of over 52,000 dislikes compared to only 186 likes, as of May 31, 2021.[3]
