Sweetener
From Conservapedia
Sweetener is a substance that sweetens foods and/or beverages such as sugar, honey or a low-calorie (sometimes) synthetic product(s) called non-nutritive sweeteners, used instead of natural, calorie-containing ones.
The word also refers to an added inducement: "As a sweetener to induce applications for the position, potential employees were offered two weeks paid medical leave each year."
