Trivia article?

From what I see, this is merely a note saying that some boat got renamed in the 80s. If this is an extremely important boat, it should maybe be noted, but in its current state (without any sort of reference), this strikes me as trivia. I would have asked the creator directly, but User talk:DeborahB. is protected at the moment. Since the creator is a sysop, I will refrain from replacing the content with a Speedy Deletion box, but an explanation and/or an expansion of the article would be nice. :) --NekoD 17:29, 28 July 2007 (EDT)

There's a whole slew of these stubs that got created during The Contest. There was talk about the appropriatness of them then and I think it was decided that they are to stay. Just check out anything in the ships category.Jazzman831 12:35, 29 July 2007 (EDT)
