Addition to the "Biblical Explanation" Section
Below is something that might be added to provide a different array of perspectives regarding the Cosmic Microwave Background and the Bible.
Right after the existing paragraph I wrote:
However, the light mentioned on the first day of creation was more likely radiating from God Himself. Psalm 104, the creation psalm, says in verse 2 (NLT):
"O Lord my God, how great you are! You are robed with honor and majesty. You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;"
This passage, although poetic, seems to indicate that God was the source of light before the sun was created on day four.
So, from a Biblical perspective, there are no indications of what this Cosmic Microwave Background could be.
Anyway, I don't really care whether or not this is added. I'll contribute some more when I have more time.
