Wouldn't it be better if you can make it clearer that if they came to the West from the USSR or behind the Iron Curtain that they were defectors, sensible and honourable people, but if they went from the West to the USSR or behind the Iron Curtain they were traitors, fools and betrayers? The article mentions it, and I thought I've read this before, that some of the famous male defectors (or double agents) that defected from the US to the USSR were also homosexual lovers who stole secrets from their jobs at the CIA or other important government institutions. Does anyone have any information about which of the people listed were homosexuals? I think the percentage of defectors which were homosexual may be pretty surprising. --Foxtrot 04:40, 12 September 2008 (EDT)

Guy Burgess definitely was - and very indiscreet with it. It's a wonder he was ever employed in the first place - old school tie, I suppose. Bugler 07:40, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
