Talk:Definition of abortion

In the medical community, an abortion is the loss of the fetus by any cause. For example, a spontaneous abortion is more commonly referred to as a miscarriage. Though the word "abortion" is more commonly associated with a medical professional causing the death of the fetus then extracting it, I think it would be important to distinguish the difference in the common and medical connotations. -- Jeff W. Is not the page titled abortion not in fact the definition of abortion? I do not see why this deserves its own page. It should just redirect back to "Abortion". -- User:NorthernSights_Discussion 13:51, 11 June 2010 (EDT)

As both comments above illustrate, taken together, the definition of abortion is an issue of its own, thereby justifying a separate entry.--Andy Schlafly 22:17, 11 June 2010 (EDT)
