Errors with former version

  • The elbow is not a bone
  • It doesn't bend 'inwards', it flexes or extends
  • It doesn't section off the forearm from the rest of the arm, it is technically the joint between the arm and forearm
  • The elbow is not simply a hinge joint, as there are 3 separate articulations of which only 1 could be described as a hinge joint.

Sure, my version is more technical, but it is more correct and detailed also. If you want to make it easier to understand, feel free, but better to expand on what is there (perhaps filling in entries for the dead wiki links, which I do plan to do), rather than removing anything which you do not understand --J00ni 11:10, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Just to add, I think a diagram would make it a lot easier to understand, but I don't have upload rights --J00ni 11:12, 16 November 2008 (EST)
Place a link to a diagram here, and I'll upload it for you. If it's not a public domain image, then fair use applies. Karajou 11:16, 16 November 2008 (EST)
