Soft drinks in other bits of the world don't have corn syrup in.

While doing your schooling here at Conservapedia, I would hope someone would teach you that what you have written is not good grammar. You could rewrite this sentence as "Soft drinks in other parts of the world may not use corn syrup". "Bits" is not an appropriate term for geographical regions, and finishing a sentence with a preposition ('in') is grammatically incorrect. FNNoonan 15:58, 4 February 2009 (EST)

I agree it was perhaps too informal. The "rule" about prepositions was (according to the Cambridge Grammar of the English Language) dreamt up by Dryden with no justification and no prior tradition of use.
