Why does Stem cell research only discuss embryonic? Adult stem cell research is where the most progress has been made and it doesn't have the same difficulties with destruction of life. Learn together 02:22, 12 July 2007 (EDT)

Controversy creates conversation. There are very few objections to adult stem cell research, and so noone can be bothered to take the time to write about it. I suggest renaming the article to 'Embryonic Stem Cell Research' or something similar. - BornAgainBrit

Still, I don't think you should associate the two together. A majority of stemcell's now are actually gained from the placenta after a child is born, which harms nobody. I had a friend with cancer whose life was nearly saved because of stemcells, and I don't think its right to associate it with abortion.
