I am bringing in info to be deleted from Indo-European which will will free that up for culture, history, etc., AlanE 23:02, 14 July 2012 (EDT)

I left in (for now) the reference to Hebrew being the original language. However, I have written on the subject of the Proto-Indo-European language for Creationist publications, and I have never heard that view before. Is there a reference confirming who holds this view? It does not make sense to me because I am assuming that Hebrew developed with the Hebrews, who were not in existence at the time of the Tower of Babel. The idea that Proto-Indo-European was the language given to the descendants of Japheth makes a lot more sense and fits into the Biblical chronology. Unless someone brings forth a reference for the Hebrew view, I think it should be deleted. Musoniki 16:11, 11 April 2015 (EDT)
