Reporting a marginal view is not the same as promoting it. This is a crucial point.
Wikipedians who are determined to game the system have abused their NPOV policy and invented an idea called "equal validity" with the premise that mentioned two ideas and describing each of them without saying which one is true is the same as promoting the untrue one.
We here rather take the view of Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger than fairly describing opposing views does not require us to label one correct, and that this will not mislead any reader of average intelligence. --Ed Poor Talk 12:00, 16 March 2010 (EDT)
