Talk:John C. Frémont

Return to "John C. Frémont" page.

If this fellow is "best known as the Man who Mapped the West" can this be reflected in his article please. AlanE 02:11, 4 February 2009 (EST)

I'll phrase it another way...Why is this man "best known as the Man who Mapped the West? And now he suddenly appears categorised as a Californian Governor. Why? I see nothing in the article to justify this. Please, can we have some information on this man that can conceivably be called "encyclopedic"! AlanE 21:55, 8 February 2009 (EST)

As for the California Governors add, he was a territorial governor of California in 1847. I was just organizing the pages into the proper categories, making sure all linked governors on the governors lists I created were located where they should be. More info will be added on my part once everything is organized. WesleySHello! 22:02, 8 February 2009 (EST)
And to be really difficult :). Is anyone going to "Fix" major general...put him in a nice blue uniform? (I'll smile again...:).AlanE 22:37, 8 February 2009 (EST)
There's your blue. No longer a redcoat, but by no means a full article yet. I'll get on it tomorrow. WesleySHello! 22:55, 8 February 2009 (EST)
