Removal of "communist Eastern Europe"
No doubt there are important parallels between communism and the kibbutzim. That being said, it's not really accurate to talk about "communist Eastern Europe" as something that predates not only the Warsaw Pact, but the Bolshevik Revolution. The kibbutzniks may have been communists, and they may have been from Easter Europe; but they were from an Eastern Europe that was living under imperial (Russian or Hapsburg) power, not communism...AlexWD 20:16, 17 January 2010 (EST)
