Talk:Left-wing war on women
I'm not totally happy with the mainspace title. I used this cause it didn't have the word "sex" in keeping with the family friendly nature of CP and cause it doesn't sound like we're exploiting the issue. But any other suggestions are welcome.
Also, feel free to expand on any individual case as much as is relevent.
- I agree, but it needs to be stressed that, owing to the title of the article, we limit it to instances where women are the victims. While the women could be the perpetrators if they happen to be left-wing, we CANNOT allow examples of male victims, since the entire point of the article is how the left, despite their meme of conservatives enacting a "war on women", are closer to actually living out that term. To put it another way, we keep Kevin Spacey and his pedophilic, coming out of the closet response out, since his victims were not women. The Hollywood Values article is good enough for him. And while we're at it, we might need to list instances from before this century, like, I don't know, Sartre's philandering of women (and believe me, he definitely could qualify as a war on women type in itself. Same with Simone de Beauvoir). Pokeria1 (talk) 09:55, 24 November 2017 (EST)
- Good point. That's one reason it needs a better title. The Corey Feldman allegations will produce more perps (Jon Grissom) but I haven't looked at his politics yet. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 04:13, 26 November 2017 (EST)
- As to Sarte, I'd like to focus on what's happened since Clinton's acquittal, but no objections to expanding into other areas or even eras. It can all be properly structured as we move along. We're working on an assumption that as of 2017, accusations may indeed be treated different than in the past.
- Another notorious case is Barney Frank who ran a male whorehouse out of his DC apartment in the 1990s. This stuff can fit in somewhere eventually. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 04:21, 26 November 2017 (EST)
