Talk:Libertinism

I've got some explaining to do. The reason I know as much as I do about my recent changes to this site is that I believe one must understand good and evil equally well to promote good and combat evil. My philosophy professor name-dropped the Marquis de Sade as an example of hedonism gone horribly wrong, and I took it upon myself to research the man and his beliefs. Armed with that knowledge, if I encounter anyone remotely similar to that man who has been hellfire for 227 years with an eternity to go in their beliefs, I can bounce their beliefs off of them, show them the error of their ways, and bring them back to the light. Edit: please rename this page to Libertine, because the word is mostly archaic by now, therefore there isn't really an "ism" for it. Another edit: the same philosophy course where I learned about ethics, I also learned about Marquis de Sade, since he's pretty much the perfect example of both atheistic evil and sexual deviance. --Pious (talk) 01:27, 24 July 2016 (CDT)
