Liberal-bashing
I've just edited this page, partly to remove some silly and gratuitous liberal-bashing.
For the record, it read as such:
"For example, many liberals tout solar energy as extremely clean, but do not realize that the manufacture of the panels creates many toxic chemicals that are placed in the environment. Since they do not see this, they assume that solar panels are perfect."
The "do not realize" and "assume that solar panels are perfect" are simplistic assumptions. Furthermore:
"Another liberal example is terrorism: during 9/11, many liberals supported George W. Bush because terrorists had recently attacked. However, as the terrorist attacks on America stopped, they began to resent Bush and his actions to defend their safety and freedom."
For many reasons, this makes almost no sense. I won't enumerate the reasons unless anyone genuinely has an issue and wants to debate this.
Overall, it seems silly to provide "liberal examples" of this. Examples are fine, but ideologically branding them is silly.EMorrissey 17:13, 13 November 2009 (EST)
