Talk:Paleolithic Age

Article name

I propose renaming this page and Neolithic Age for the following reasons:

  1. The term "Paleolithic Age" is less common than "Paleolithic Period" (109,000 vs. 230,000 Google English hits).
  2. Either term presupposes the evolutionary/secular worldview that these refer to periods of time in the development of humanity.
  3. Unlike "Stone Age" which could not readily be renamed "Stone", there would be no problem with renaming this article as simply "Paleolithic" (and similar for "Neolithic").

So on the basis of point 2, I propose renaming this article simply "Paleolithic", and similar for "Neolithic".

Any objections?
