Regarding Proverbs 8:31: It's not clear that אָדָם is not "humanity" or "mankind" here. Surely that's the meaning in Genesis 1:27? How would you change the translation of that verse to not use the collective meaning of Adam? MelH 09:24, 27 May 2013 (EDT)
