Better yet, let's create an article called Soccer in England and begin by noting that - everywhere but in America - people call soccer "football" (both in Spanish and in English). It is only in the good ol' USA that "football" refers to American rules football.

I made a nice compromise over this at Wikipedia, because so many Britishers were there, but this is an American encyclopedia and we use American English here. --Ed Poor ^Talk 22:27, 12 February 2010 (EST)
