Talk:The Oscars

Page Name

I know at first you would think this page should be "THE Oscars" - but really when you think about it, it's perfectly acceptable to say "I saw a Oscars show" - because "The" is not part of the name, and thus should not be in the title. There can also be an argument for this page to be titled "Academy Awards" given that that's the official name, but I could care less on that subject, just wanted to throw the idea out there--IDuan 00:08, 25 February 2008 (EST)

Support renaming as Academy Awards with appropriate redirects from Oscars, The Oscars, and The Academy Awards. SSchultz 00:13, 25 February 2008 (EST)
