The potato incident looks like the same thing at wikipedia Samething

The potato incident was common knowledge onboard USS O'Bannon DD-987, which was my last command. The plaque that is pictured on the Wikipedia page was installed on my ship, on the quarterdeck, alongside a brass engraving of the Presidential Unit Citation. And here you are, condemming me for a cut and paste job from Wikipedia, when the author of the Wikipedia article copied it from MY source: the Naval Historical Center. Alleged Copying

A simple examination of this articles history reveals that much of it was put here by Karajou, who took that information from a public-domain source of the US government. Wikipedia uses that material as well - so nobody, in fact, copied from Wikipedia. Not only that, this (short!) talk page has ALREADY ADDRESSED THE ISSUE. Do your homework before pointing fingers.
