Tamworth

Tamworth is a market town and borough on the border between Staffordshire and Warwickshire. The population of Tamworth, as of 2021, was just under 80,000.

Tamworth is renowned as the ancient seat of royal power for the Anglian kingdom Mercia, which occupied much of central England between the 6th and 10th centuries.
