Tesseract

A tesseract is a four-dimensional cube. In three-dimensional space, it is depicted as a cube suspended within another cube with all the vertices or corners connected. The tesseract was used in Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle In Time as "a wrinkle in time"; the internal cube flows outward as the external one flows inward square by square.
