The Antitrust Paradox (1978) is a book by Judge Robert Bork that advocates limiting the purpose of antitrust law to the promotion of “consumer welfare” (p. 66).

This view was adopted by the U.S. Supreme Court in Reiter v. Sonotone Corp., 442 U.S. 330, 343 (1979), while quoting Judge Bork's book.
