The Family Man is an American film starring Nicholas Cage as a successful Wall Street broker with an Upper West Side penthouse and a Park Avenue office. The movie explores his choice of career and success over love and family. A mysterious stranger (Don Cheadle) gives him a "glimpse" of what his life would have been like if he had chosen differently (see also It's A Wonderful Life).

The film has a distinct pro-family view, with the protagonist realizing family is more important than anything else.

  • "Don't screw up the best thing in your life just because you're a little unsure about who you are."
  • "I choose us."
