The Metamorphosis (1915) is a 21,000-word novella written in German by Frank Kafka, which is a powerful metaphor of the alienation many feel by contemporary society. Its original title in German was "Die Verwandlung."
This novella inspired a new puzzled adventure video game released in August 2020 by the publisher All in! Games and developer Ovid Works, called Metamorphosis.
