The Motley Fool is a popular American financial education website founded in 1994 by brothers David & Tom Gardner, that aims to teach ordinary people how to take care of their money better, in an easy to understand way.
The name originates from a line from one of the plays by William Shakespeare.
There has been a British version of the site since March 1998.
