Thomas Szasz, born April 15, 1920 (age 103), in Budapest, Hungary, is a psychiatrist who rose to fame after writing his now-signature book The Myth of Mental Illness (1960). Though not theological, his view is similar to that of Orval Hobart Mowrer‎, Perry London, and William Glasser. In 1969 he and other non-scientologists helped Scientology found the antipsychiatry organization Citizens Commission on Human Rights.
