Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) is the eighteenth film of the James Bond film series and the second to star Pierce Brosnan as fictional British secret agent James Bond. It is notable for being the first Bond film not to be produced by Albert R. Broccoli, who died in 1996. A tribute to Broccoli was included in the film's end credits. Tomorrow Never Dies was also the last Bond film to be distributed by United Artists, as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer became the sole distributor of the series starting with the following film The World is Not Enough.
